Yes hi my name is chris. I've been working on my game for a while and made no progress. This is my first attempt at making something. You see . I've been teaching myself c++ off & on for 8 yrs. I remember looking at my first c++ book, Beginning C++ Game Programming by Michael Dawson, and going theirs no way I could do this. Fast foward 8, and it's like I can read any c++ code and be like O. I don't think I'm at the point where I can write alot of code by myself, but I'm closer than I was when I started. Back to my problem when I try to update player pos with setpos, she flies off screen. My other problem is with translating map pos to player pos for collsion. I have 2d int array to represent different blocks. Any help eoulde be great. Thanks https://pastebin.com/mihFbL9X .

You'd have more luck explaining your life less and your game more, also, isolate the problem to a few lines of code, there's a lot of code that has nothing to do with your problem and I'm not deciphering it all
