I've been meaning to try Warsow. I don't like FPS games that much, but this one has nice cartoon-ish aesthetics. It's also helpful that it's crossplatform (there's even supposed to be an early alpha version in the forums for Mac users), and basically any computer that can run Quake II can also run it.
However, as for the start time, I live in Taipei at +8 GMT. If anyone on the Western side plays late enough, those of us on this side of the world could join in Sunday morning.
Other games that we could try:
1.
Multiplayer Asteriods, which we
covered last year. It would be better for scheduling group plays of 30 minutes to an hour instead of a game night, but it might still be useful.
2. A free MMORPG. We could choose to occasionally play together collaboratively instead of competing against each other.
OnRPG has a decent rated list of games to choose from while
Free MMORPG List seems to be more up to date.
