We haven't worked out all of his powers aside from obviously the power of flight. What special ability(ies) do you think this type of character should have?  Wink

Today, I’d like to take a moment to recognize Daniel Sperl a man who has been an incredible support throughout the development of Summoners Fate. Daniel Sperl is the creator of Starling, a cross-platform game engine for AS3 that has powered countless games and brought together an amazing community of developers. I had the honor of meeting Daniel in person at Adobe Max in 2012, and since then, enjoyed our friendship over regular email discussions. Daniel is not only a brilliant software engineer, he’s an exceptional support person. If you haven’t worked with Starling before, browse through the forums. Daniel shows a personal commitment and responsiveness to supporting his engine and sees that those seeking help are heard, cared about, and back on track to making games.

Our Red Starling card pays homage to the man, and gives players a chance to see first hand on the battlefield how support can go a long way to achieving victory.  Toast Right

Game Dev Update: Today I am working on getting the Deck Builder's ability to store data containing the player's custom deck. Also, I'm working on giving the Builder the ability to load the custom deck into a match.

Happy Superbowl! Our lineup for our "Summoners Fate Bowl" is Orcs vs. Insectoids. The Orc Shaman protects the ancient text. Yarrok Morown the Orc makes the first strike...who will win?

Today's GameDev: working on the main menu that will look like a campfire for your team to rest & to manage cards, make selections, etc. Instead of doing this through a UI, ours will be inside the game engine, giving a much more immersive experience. It's looking great so far!
