MechBox 2 challenges players to uncover the secrets of a mysterious post-apocalyptic puzzle box. Explore each protective layer in a series of ever-changing puzzle and logic challenges to find the secrets within.

The high-tech box is damaged and time is running out.. the fate of the world is quite literally in your hands.

How to play

★ If you have no idea how to start playing, then why don’t you try some time killer.

★ Every protection layer of the Mechanical Box is supplied with the BGB - Big Green Button design for moving to the next level below. You just need to press it, lol.

★ If you try to solve a puzzle and eventually find yourself in a dead end, don’t give up! The MechBox has a built-in hint system. But remember, MechBox isn’t a game for casual players but rather an armored metalware bristling with security systems. And a hint is just a hint, not a ready-made solution.

Background

The Mechanical Box is one of the last fragments of the technology used by the Ancients and still existing in the post-apocalyptic world of the alternative Earth. A high-tech device created with only one purpose: to store and protect an unknown Object inside. To date, the Box is in poor condition: it’s partially damaged and overgrown with moss and other vegetation. There is a warning written on one side which is still readable: "SUBNUCLEAR CELLS MUST NOT BE REPLACED".

Tell you a bit about MechBox in my own words...

Mechanical Box is a set of puzzles. Imagine a steel cube that you twist in your hands, trying to find secret buttons and understand how the hell are you supposed to open it. That's what the MechBox looks like. It is a high-tech device created with only one purpose: to store and protect an unknown Object inside.

The Mechanical Box’s protection systems have multiple layers as if an onion and each layer (level) is an independent original puzzle with non-repeating game mechanics. I must admit that the puzzles are... a bit unusual. They require logic but also the ability to think out of the box, find patterns and see the answer, which is always elegantly hidden on the surface. Plus, Easter eggs and a keen sense of humor. Even the main menu is a mini puzzle. And you won’t believe how many players are puzzled by it Cheesy

I DO love this game graphics, especially in comparison with first version. I'm a bit stuck at calc-like puzzle (where to put his d**n button), but still a lot of fun. I'm not sure if it's really hardest puzzle ever (it's relative, it usually boils down to figuring out what author meant), especially as there's a hint system, but it's quite a fun. Just hope puzzles won't get too repetitive. And touching and swiping around with my finger just to find out if some elements are moveable is not necessarily my thing, especially as you often launch system control panel accidentally etc. which cen get very annoying.

Friends, I wish you merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Succeed in becoming even smarter than you are, be creative, solve all puzzles easily and overcome all obstacles on the way to your goal. There is a new and rather complex level waiting for you in this Mechanical Box update.

Are you sharing this to us for marketing purpose ? Looks like so.
It would be interesting if you share with us some information about development, such as how many artists you worked with ? how you contacted them ? how much time you spent on the development, etc.
Remember that we are developers here, not your market targets. Doing marketing on TIG is kind of wasting your time.

Today any place is a bad place to search for audiences. Even if you do good game. Especially if your English isn't very good. I'm just trying to tell you about my hobby. Doing this is the way I can. BTW, speaking of development, here is creation process gif:
