Snow Ash Land is a multiplayer post-apocalyptic top-down shooter game with rpg mechanics and survival in semi-open world. It simulates a dying society in a post-apocalyptic world. Guided by factions with very different ideologies, the player can choose to help rebuild civilization or destroy humanity.

There's a lot of interractions between players in multiplayer mode : Guilds, pvp territory wars, resources and informations exchanges, language, politics, economy, building...

Hey there,

the concept looks good. I'm a fan of the top-down twin stick style and I love the gritty snow setting, lot's of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. vibes here.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the multiplayer looks like as it seems very ambitious.

I tried to play the demo in offline mode but it seemed to get stuck on entering my name.

Looks fun and immersive though. Looking forward to future updates.

Hello ,I'm back with a new version of the game ,more optimized ,more stable ,and the multi is now functional (well though I took a server at 4 euros per month so for now it's limited to 5 players at the same time ,but it's better for testing)

The server can CRASH and blocked your screen 5 minutes (if more ,try to disconnect u internet),be ready and sorry ^^

Multiple gameplay mechanics were implemented ,such that :

- a multiplayer construction system
- the multiplayer sales hotel
- factional fighting by NPC
- the economy and politics totally editable by the players
- a prison organized by the players
- a system of official rank/job (police officer ,banker ,presidential guard ,ect)
- Weapon and armour forging system
- Cultivation and crafting system of consumables granting bonuses (with small nice effect for alcohols)
- New competence system with 3 classes (for the moment the three basic classes: DPS / TANK / HEAL)
- balancing between all the mechanics (it was so long...)

As well as improvements to the AI ,improvements to the HUD ,boss addition ,villagers cutting wood and undermining resources ,merchants ,a BIG game optimization ,and a BIG major bugfix in the game

Hi people ,I've done some big optimization updates ,and I need you to report back to me on whether the game is running on your computer ,and if possible send me your processor and graphics card configuration information to help me create my game.

If you're blocking right after launching the game stay press delete.it's probably a bug in my ugly intro and not finished

Hey people, I just added a dynamic sound system.

Now depending on your situation (passive, in danger, or aggressive) pieces of sound engage and this trigger makes the fights much more dynamic and atmospheric.

Very big update with a real optimization of the netcode, the server is now ONLINE (temporarily) ,but you need to download the corresponding client version to the server here :

Another update ,it should go better on some computers ,you can test it ,I started adding a new skills system (in the style materia of final fantasy 7) ,it's only a draft ,but it should become very interesting soon.

New territory "THE SLUM"
Add 5 first secondary quests

The building system was improved with about thirty new decorative objects

But the server is offline ,2 players per day is too little to pay a server ,if some are motivated tell me I could leave the server on during the day on my computer.

Thanks guys.I'm trying to do my best with optimization but logically it's running if your pc doesn't have a too bad processor.

in any case the server is online if you want to test ,but it's far from over and it lacks tutorial (you can change the language of the game ,but many will remain in french because not finished yet)

I added a new mechanics to the gameplay: transport

you can now move quickly from one area to another thanks to a train that you will buy wagon by wagon ,you can transport civilians ,goods or other players .

For the moment it's under development but it gives this:
