hello again here some new pics from our filter, this time with a screen from Blazing Chrome ( ) a small preview from another pixel mask, this time to create the RGB crt pixel grid... this pixel looks very nice on 1080p resolution and are AWESOME on 4K (yes, the best use for your 4K TV is to emulate a CRT tv from 90's hahaha)... saddly my notebook is just 720p hahaha special thanks for Danilo from JoyMasher for the screenshoot and some feedbacks

we are doing the final tests in OLD TV Filter for Unity :D we had sent a beta to some friends to test it too joymasher (from Odallus and Oniken) are testing the GameMaker version. we made so many changes these days, so, I'll re-code the entire filter for Unreal, it will be much more easy and fast than correct then... and I'll try to make the nodes more clear xD and here a screen from presets test on Unity

can you remove the border + rounding effect at all and just render the vhs/etc distortion w/ the filter? or no? that’s ideal for how i’d like to personally use it myself

I've seen countless such attempts and, judging by the screenshots, the ones here must be the best I've ever seen. Most complete array of effects, most faithful reproduction, most convincing overall. Plus, the support of multiple engines is an impressive technical feature. Amazing! What's your secret A big pixel-art game fan, I think I would enjoy this really much on most things I (alas, occasionally) play; (this kind of feature should probably be optional; even if, in my own experience, after prolonged use of any such filter going back to plain is almost physically painful).

first! the Unity version is out! go get it now! the effect is awesome and some #LDJAM game are using it right now not just that, we made extra, the OLD TV Material, so you can add the filter in the scene objects too! you can get the Unity version here https://goo.gl/zQfHjz by default you have access to 3 different types of scanlines masks, and it is very easy to create and share new ones! we made the filter to give all kind of resource to make the screen looks exactly how you want, so you can enable and disable every "layer" from the filter and change the settings as you want! when your filter is done you have a preset file ready to reuse in another project or share on with your friends :D for the first time we have the OLD TV Material! now it's easy to use the filter in scene objects without any hack or code! we made this one as a surprise and wasn't in the dev plan :3

ok, unity version is done and online yesterday we did some fixes and requests from the users and give a small talk with the guys from scirra about the filter... let's talk about construct... as engine shader limitation will be very, but, really really very hard to give all the features from the shader to them I'm waiting to know if there any hack or something that can I do... now, let's talk about gamemaker, we send a email to some developers asking if they want to try the beta, the plan is, release a final version THIS month!!! thats all for today thanks \o

I dig the glitch TV filter. Are you releasing that specific filter for Game Maker Studio? What is the price if so?

This looks like the best attempt of a retro TV effect I've seen so far. Really cool! Looking forward to trying it out for GMS

old tv filter for gamemaker is done but, not ready to the assetstore, first, we will send the beta to some devs to test and find any bug... we will take this week to test everything and try to upload on the next now it's the time for the unreal \o/ again about construct, as I said in another post, we still didn't know if we can give every features the filter have, but, we will try to do a very nice upgrade... and a question, what about RPG Maker??
