I used it for a while to hone my english, but i found that i use it for a little while and then forget it. The achiever in me wants to have everything marked as gold, but the more you advance through the language there are more and more things to go back to keep everything clean.

i have to learn the "python" language for bioinformatics and i guess snake charming

I also prefer Memrise. after getting sick of flash-cards tho I did install duolingo. I like the speach recognition and listening parts, but otherwise it's style is pretty annoying to me.

It's pretty frightening how much of the language I forgot after stopping both apps for a little while. I come back thinking "I used to be able to answer these quizzes?!"

Duolingo launched Korean course few weeks ago. At the moment, I don't know whether I like it or not.

I'm currently using more than one app to learn Japanese. I don't mind the style of duolingo but I think it's good to alternate.
