Hey guys, I've been looking for any games that draw heavily from noir style lately, and I've been coming up short, for the most part.  Do you guys know of any off hand, indie or otherwise?  I'm already aware of Missing and Fedora Spade (though I can't play them, I'm on a Mac  Sad ).  Dreamweb and Nightshade (NES) are the only other ones that I can think of off the top of my head.  That's such a short list that I can hardly believe I've scratched the surface!

There was a pretty cool one called "Fate by Numbers" on indygamer blogspot recently. Worth checking out, from what I've seen of it.

You'll definitely want to play the Max Payne games, if you haven't already Smiley

Deja Vu 1 and 2 are older adventure games in that spirit, although I have no idea whether they are available on PC.

Grim Fandango was heavily inspired by film noir.

I was gonna make a noir'ish adventure game once. (Might still do it).
Was gonna be called "Umbra".

Was as far as I ever got. Although I do have a text file with some pretty cool puzzle/story ideas etc. laying around.

Well not exactly indie but The Darkness for PS3/X360 felt pretty noir to me.

anthropomorphic noir:
Sam & Max: Hit the Road

sci-fi noir:
Syndicate
Shadowrun
And they probably made some Bladerunner games at some point.

Yeah, the Bladerunner adventure game, which I've heard is good.
