RatDog Games is an indie team based out of Massachusetts. A majority of the team works remotely with schedules ranging from part time to full time. The team size is ranges between 4-10 people depending on the current needs of the project.

We are someone who can join our team to lead our marketing / community management efforts going forward. The candidate would be starting with one project but have potential to expand into a larger role in the future if the fit is right. Depending on the candidate this could be a full or part time position.

Our current project is titled Gunnhildr, an FPS Rogue-Lite strongly influenced by Norse Mythology.

Current Gameplay Video:

We have a strong preference towards a candidate who has some gaming related experience.

This position could be full or part time depending on the candidate.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of traditional game marketing techniques and influencer marketing
  • Design, coordinate, and execute marketing efforts with the team for the project
  • Design and execute our social media strategy
  • Lead our community growth / management efforts, email marketing
  • Create dev blog posts / vlogs with the team
  • Assist in growing / managing our Twitch, YouTube, and Discord communities
  • Lead our team’s influencer marketing initiatives: identify opportunities, direct outreach, cultivate relationships, execute campaigns, and report results.
  • Take part in team activities such as play test sessions, team building exercises and events
  • Active on social media, social personality and enjoys thinking outside the box for how to promote an indie game to a larger community

Bonus:
  • Experience shipping at least one game in a Marketing/PR/ Community Management capacity
  • Well connected in Twitch / YouTube / Gaming Press communities
  • Experience creating video content ( Trailer creation / video editing for vlogs / Twitch streaming)

The project is roughly 50% complete at this point and we need a talented marketing professional to come on board and assist us in bringing the project to completion.
