But it dries before the next use. And it gets wet when you wash it. And I don't think dish soup is antibacterial/antifungul generally.

Due to exposure to the outside environment, the teat will have surface bacteria, however discounting the poorly characterised entero-mammary pathway the milk will largely be clean
