For the loading screen fade in, instead of the cat coming in, what about a faster tearaway? That way the cat fade out looks a little more 'special' and the loading would feel like it's starting sooner? I don't have any comparisons to show you, but I think it looks a little weird using the cat to fade in and to fade out. Still looks good, but I'm wondering if it could look better.

Thanks for the feedback tankorsmash! Do you have any example on how tearaway looks like? I'm trying to find that effect looks like on google but couldn't. I meant like something like #5 https://youtu.be/P5co4QjvMd0?t=72, just any transition that isn't specifically the cat one, so its used once instead of twice when going back and forth. It's just my opinion but it makes the cat one more special and contextualizes it for returning to gameplay. |
