Short for "Music And Gaming Festival," MAGFest is a four day-long event dedicated to the appreciation of video game music, gaming of all types, and the gaming community.The event runs 24 hours a day, and offers consoles, arcades, tabletop, LAN, live video game cover bands, chiptunes, vendors, guest speakers, and of course a great Indie Showcase.
In addition to the daily noon to 7pm showcase (noon to 2pm on Sunday), there is the 24 hour "Indie Arcade", featuring indie video games in custom built arcade enclosures - because sometimes you really need to play a fresh, new game at 4am. Also some excellent Home Brew console games have found a home in MIVS and are showing brand new games on classic consoles.
Once all the indie booths are allocated; if you are an indie with a video game, there is still option to show your game at one of our "QuickPlay" tables.
Submissions for the MIVS 2018 are not too far away. Submissions will begin Sunday, August 20th and close Sunday, September 3. This is the Round 1 video submission. Guidelines for the round 1 video submission can be found at
