Presentation video, video on gameplay, demo, playable demo, early access, alpha, beta ... in short, which option to choose and what to be ready.
What aspects can then change in the final version, what can you afford to omit.

Maybe it's a bit too general. Let's imagine the case of a game with a bit of texture or setting, with different content.

Not sure I understand. Submit to who? Publishers, potential players?

I'm a big believer in releasing demos ASAP (with the proper amount of caveats & warnings), but I'd say hold off on promo materials (trailer, etc.) until you feel rock solid with the look

I also think so, develop the game with the community. But the gain I do not know if you can get something to go on in the development
