In some ways it seems like a silly question. You're better off just playing on whatever you have. Yet, it can also be a serious issue. Would you change platform if a game's good enough?

I didn't really think there was such a thing as this! Well, the first question is do you enjoy the games your friends play? Another question is what operating system do you have currently? PC is better built for games as you can normally change stuff on those sort of computers and PCs are normally much cheaper than MACs, PCs can be bought at quite low prices with quite good specs at the same time. PCs are easily adaptable and are easily customizable, MACs aren't asuch as they aren't too customizable. It's your choice - I'd recommend looking at some blog articles for you to pick your option. My two cents: There are mac games and then there are PC games. On the one hand, The Macintosh is a family of personal computers designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple Inc. since January 1984. What about Linux, which comes with Tux, the humble open source penguin, that keeps your computer fresh (get it?) and gives you solace when you realize the games you wanna play ain't going to be ported to Linux
