Unlikely. I've seen Rick and Morty in its entirety and this doesn't ring a bell.
there's an entire subculture dedicated to misinterpreting the show to be about how not having friends in school must mean society has rejected you because it fears or can't possibly comprehend your genius

You see, only Asian kids are prone to Pokemon induced seizures. It's true, and not based in prejudice! It's due to the fact that the episode which caused these seizures have only ever aired in Japan.

Really makes you think! Smiley

the kind of fucked up survivalist with a salt and pepper goatee who wears a ghillie suit made out of baseball caps, is legally married to an army surplus store, and has a pornhub account with 69 videos of himself fucking a loaded m16, but get this: he's scared the government is going to make him put an epilepsy warning in computer games and he writes "M$"

But doesn't an epilepsy screen in a video game just say "this developer is afraid of litigation"? There's no law forbidding the use of epilepsy screens in games that don't flash or do other popular seizure-inducing things.

If you're going to put an epilepsy warning up and burn through potentially a cumulative year of people's lives, surely you should at least put some information on the screen, like what parts of the game you think would be the worst offenders?

Unless one can explain to me in detail, how exactly the warning helps, and makes people behave differently to prevent a seizure. This political crap will stay way from my games.
This is belligerence on an epic scale. It is not rocket science, it is beyond obvious.

If I put up a sign that said "Beware of Dog" what does that tell you?

If I put up a label on a bottle that said "Poisonous, do not drink!" what does that tell you?

If I put up a sign that said "Caution: Wet Floor!" what does that tell you?

So what does a warning about flashing lights for the epileptic tell you?

You're attempting to delegitimize the issue by claiming it is "political" as if the only reason it is there is to suit some kind of political ideology but it has nothing to do with politics whatsoever, it is a medically-advised warning to help prevent someone with epilepsy from accidentally triggering a seizure. It is put in games (and before some shows) as an aid for someone who suffers from a disability warning them that the game may contain flashing lights. Some games do, some games don't. The warning helps people with epilepsy know which do. It's simple shit, don't be belligerent.

If I have to spell it out for you in more detail than that we need to keep you away from anything with a choking hazard, poison warning, etc.

I mean, Christ, 6 seconds of a Pokemon episode sent 700 kids to the hospital but nah a warning is just going way too far.

The creator of this topic is a loathsome baboon living in side of a grotesque shack made of his own diarrhea. You might think that this is a preposterous claim, and I dont have any evidence of it, but guess what mother fuckers, my principles tell me that it must be true.

hey look I found a battlenet post by somebody who bought Diablo 3 because didn't have a photosensitivity warning and then had to stop playing it because a section was destroying their brain

so that's my count of one (1) time it would have been useful and was excluded, which is already a sufficient count for the nonexistent inconvenience of their inclusion

https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topic/5967567564
The poster actually complained that he can't play the game at all now. A warning at game start-up is useless. You will need a warning on the Store page for this. So that they don't buy at all.

There should have been a warning on the game BEFORE I bought it.
Do you even read the OP yourself? Seems not.

What does this even mean? Philosophy? Do you make it your mission statement to disregard other people's perspective? Because that's a shitty philosophy my dude.
Ever heard of "minimalism" being a design philosophy? And you still haven't descripted an actual scenario, and compared those two. Which means you are running out of arguments.
