This was originally planned as a racing game. But now it's a general (universal Wink) piloting/maneuvering game, including time challenges. Behold my well thought out design document and pre-game MSpaint sprites :




Game name history: Blast Racer, Lunar Racer, Lunar Lapper, Raum Raser, Raum Rauser, Raumraza. Staying with Raum Drive now.

There are 2 spacecraft currently. They control totally differently. One is easy to control, the other is faster.
The levels each have different objectives such as completing a course, survive 60s, checkpoint gathering, time challenge,...
You interact with asteroids, acceleration fields, boost pickups, mechanical jaws, teleports.

Well those are the features. But you need to experience yourself how it plays. I plan on releasing a test version soon.

This game defeated me, I tried to use skill to beat it, and failed, then I tried to use a scripting system to program in key inputs to do it exactly right, but somehow the commands weren't frame perfect and the result was that sometimes runs would end in failure seemingly at random. Then I tried compositing my hundreds of runs into one video by overlaying them and sadly my computer doesn't have the processing power to combine all the videos and key out the black bits. A complete loss, a game for masochists, total despair, no hope, no life, no.
