Oy !

So, be warned, the game is at very early stage so it's probably not going to be the most interesting devlog of all. But if no one else it will help keep track of the progress I make. It's also my first Unity project

Now onto the game.


The idea is a fast paced (vertical, because well, they feel so much better to me) shmup.
You can influence the scrolling by moving up or down the screen.
Influecing said scrolling will influence the rate at which enemy are spawning.

In effect that means that you will often go up and try not to squash into enemies (That feels a bit like an old school top view racing game).
And when done, you will back down and kill those enemies.

I plan on a local multiplayer mode, on a 'split' screen  influenced by puyo puyo, where you would send hazards on your opponent screens by chain killing enemies.
In single player, I'm not yet clear on what the reward would be Smiley Not a great fan of just points.


I'm a developer by trade, and not very good at drawing so I'm going with an abstract aesthetic. And lot of particles <3
