Hi everyone!
I'm Giovanny Beltrán a software engineer that want to create games properly. I start to study about game design about one year and I'm planning to study and practice the whole next year. So I want to know your recommendations in other topics related with the game development.
I'm looking for good books to study any of the following topics: Art, Audio, Design and Business.

Thank you!

Two titles that always seem to come up on design are:

1) The Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses - Jesse Schell

2) Game Feel: A Game Designer's Guide to Virtual Sensation - Steve Swink

I own both of them and love what I've read so far. For the last few months, I've been sadly ignoring diligently reading through them.

If you prefer less textbook-style books, Boss Fight Books does a series of dev breakdown/narrative-style books for select games - bossfightbooks.com
There's a book on Spelunky by Tig's own Derek Yu, and it is excellent.

Awesome!
Thanks, I haven't heard before about the Boss Fight series! It looks very interesting.
