Full Throttle 2 would have been a good one, but also a lot more work than Marble Madness 2.

Wow, I originally wasn't going to enter, but now I see there is time.
Hopefully my project won't revert to vapor by the 28th.

So I guess this compo ends tomorrow.  Wondering if anyone else is going to release an entry at the last minute or if this is going to remain a duel?   :D

I haven't even added anything to my entry, and I don't think I will. May the best better entry win, fine sir.

I think this competition had a lot of potential. Unfortunately due to my laziness I never got past early design and prototyping. Good luck to the entrants though.

I should have a game up today on here, however I will need to know what time the entries are closed today, as I live in England (thus affecting my windows of opportunity with submitting it). Right on the last moments of the project it hit meltdown, requiring me to start a new game from scratch based on the NES Vapourware game - Super Password. I will post a page as soon as I can of it :p.

My entries becoming pretty complex, and could even work for the dual Compo. I'll try to finish it by tomorrow... no promises though.

Super Pitifall II (Alpha a.k.a. Not Even Remotely Done Release)

http://www.esnips.com/r/hmfl/doc/c20645a9-ea97-497d-863f-a6fcfdc7105d/sp2alpha

ENTER - Exit Title screen and begin game
LEFT - Walk left
RIGHT - Walk right
UP - Jump/Enter Door
SPACE - Warp to new level
ESC - Exit game

Failed to manage my time properly.  All I got is basic controls and some random levels.

I did learn I just can't pull myself away from super low rez graphics.  I also managed to at least pull some code together instead of blowing it off entirely like the last competition.  All in all, it was a good exploration into randomly generated levels and platform style game issues.

Please don't take this pitiful release seriously.  Just wanted to throw it out there so the world knows something was done.

And with a flash of light, it ended...

Could everyone please post a link to their entry for the sake of organization?

I think the standard thing might be to make a new thread with a poll?  That's how the Edge compo did it.

Also, are people who entered allowed to vote, and are we allowed to vote for our self? Well, hello there!

What is happening with this competition? There's been a lot of radio silence recently, are we still going to get results on this?

[EDIT]

I appear to have missed the voting deadline, damnaminamit.

Running odds on the compo! Here are my bets for the vote totals:

Sphere Psychosis: 2 votes
Everything else: 1 vote

Everybody else take a guess!

My guess is one vote for each game, by the person who made it.  Except for one, who forgot.

However, B.C.E and Sphere Psychosis will be disqualified for being released too far before the deadline.

EDIT:  Actually, I predict that there will be a massive victory due to write-in votes for the non-entered Barron Bombem:  Eternity.

Oh, hi guys. Sorry for being late, I was out of town.

Well, turns out that you guys are right, and Sphere Psychosis wins! Congratulations, NathanielEdwards. Now give me a few days to prepare the special prize :D
