It's currently a moving in the direction of a puzzle platformer. I really wanted to make it a turn-based RPG but it seems to be asking to be something else :/ Thank you so much for checking in! ONWARD!

Slowly moving forward with the world.



Been learning everything I can about colour theory as well. Note to self: If your light source is warm, add saturation as you move towards highlights. If your light source is cold, lower saturation as you move towards highlights.



Oh, and the chef has a new running animation!

Colours for the night scenes are coming along well enough. It's amazing what hue shifting can do for your art. Not sure how things will look under Unity's lights though.


And also, stairs! Simply colliders on different physics layers, gravity scale adjustments with triggers, and colliders on the sides! Chef's gonna need a back view now though.  WTF

I love the lighting here! Don't think it's necessary to add the chef's back, the animation still kind of makes sense imo.

The premise also strangely reminds me of Holy Potatoes: What the Hell lol.

Tried to sleep last night but couldn’t, so I spent a few hours messing with the midi controller.

Tried to dissect Spirited Away’s “Name of Life”, and I got the impression that it might have started with G# and C# chords?
