Volcanoids is an upcoming steampunk survival game set on an island. Players attempt to survive the natural elements of the island such as volcanic eruptions, enemy cog race, and potentially hostile survivors through interaction, scavenging for resources, upgrading drillships and crafting.

Core features:

  • Mobile player-made bases (drillships)
  • Protection of player-made structures while the player is offline
  • Cleaning mechanic (volcano blast) that destroys all abandoned structures on the surface - ensures good performance
  • Changing envrionment
  • End goal - silencing the volcano
  • Supporting singleplayer and multiplayer (PVP and PVE)
  • Strong focus on steampunk visuals

Island

Hey guys! This week we will cover the island.

The island will have 4 different states - normal, blast, after blast and recovery




It also has two different sections - surface and underground. The state of the island and the level of upgrades on your ship will allow you to explore different sections of the island.
