Elevation-based collision for my top-down engine.
I like it.

I like it. Reminds me of some Amiga game I can't remember. Battlefield something or other. I'm working on a demo of this.

Working on updating Flash games with some more transitions and effects. Also removing the instructions from the main menu, as that's not really nessecary anymore ..

I'm trying to get shadow mapping working. Silly things are harder than they look to implement.

Long Time Listener, first time caller. Procedural, Destructible Asteroids using Marching Squares ( ). Next step is to get one of the art dudes to get me a not-pink texture, make the asteroids the rest of the way destructible (currently it's a memory leak, and they don't fragment properly), and to have the other artist do a not-backwards modular ship. [EDIT]: http://bit.ly/ZRNa7D <- link to the game

So as part of a little joke about what constitutes the category "aliens", apparently you can turn Super Saiyan 2 in my game now..
No Health or Strength Buffs yet though, although it sounds tempting.

this looks like it would be cool to make it one color and have it be the silhouette of a cat walking in the background somewhere.

My game I've been working on for the past week or so. I drew most of the art in a mockup months ago. I'm creating it in the Unity engine using a fantastic plugin called 2D Toolkit. I'm done with coding the movement for now, next on the list are some creatures.

Very nice lighting and movement! The character animation (especially shooting) reminds me of Metal Slug.

Hey bubs Looking good, thought I recognised the art. the lighting layer is kinda interesting, might be a bit too blue in some of the darker parts on the character but it's looking smooth either way.

Yes, great! I would like to see a sidewinder rattlesnake version for sneak attack mode with a long dagger hold in reverse grip.

It wouldn't exactly be my first choice for a pixel 2D side scroller. Are you even using the scene view for anything?
