A text based decision making game.

I have 4 ideas for now. Would be great if the community can give me your feedback on which one sounds the most interesting:

I played a little with raymarching/volumetric rendering today. Surprisingly easy to get into, although it sure gobbles resources if you aren't careful.

Got enemy levels showing up in WitchX's battle screens.
A bit of a minor thing, but it's nice to have an indicator of how strong things are.

I just released a short stealth game on Itch: https://direlogomachist.itch.io/imp
Took me way longer than I thought it would but that's game dev.

The game's about sneaking, demon possession, and exploding bodies!

If that piques your fancy then give it a try!  Hand Thumbs Up Left

Playing around with some stupid graphics tricks - 2D raymarched lighting

(it's 128x128 for a good reason, let me tell you)

Another method, derived from https://ncase.me/sight-and-light/

Made a game over the weekend to get better at robust code, so now here's an exercise in making things for easier object-based level design.

Player object, Solid Wall object, a Square/Volume that overrides player controls and switches modes from Overworld (P1 is orange) to Battle System (P1 is blue), and a similar Square/Volume that ends in a Room Transition instead:

I'm working on a sidescrolling shootemup/platformer hybrid.
It's a one-man project, so I'm doing everything myself.
It's still very early, but I like where its going. Smiley
Would love to have some actual people playtesting it soon.

Edit: Is there a way to reduce the size of images here? (as they are rather big)

That looks pretty neat, I like how soft everything looks with all the rounded edges in the geometry plus the soft shader. Looks like you're using some kind of heat distortion effect in the background, I would love to hear more about what you're doing there.

(Also, sadly I do not know how to reduce the size of images, I just try to resize images before I upload them onto imgur and then put them in my post.)
