Just learning zbrush 3 texturing, planning to do some contract work soon involving normal maps, characters, and all that stuff. Just got back from new zealand so im psyched to get back into it, that and do some pixel art. Pixel art(well sorta, throw the colour pallette out the window, and the engine has lots of alphaed overlays etc) is from a lost project im making a effort to finish, instead of doing my usual and letting it fade into obscurity, that all between major projects anyway. head, might do a full one if I can be bothered. untitled zombie game, loads of metal slug influence, pray for me it doesnt suck.

jpgs are good for the soul, keke. Still chipping away at the RPG, ive got a dedicated programmer taking over the RPG programming now, so it frees up a bit of my time to finish some projects i left in the dust

I have been working on an action RPG for a few months now. I have most of the basics done, so I'm mainly working on the content now. This is a really rough screen shot and almost everything in it is a place holder because I am working a lot faster than my artist. Since I am working so much faster than my artist, I took up a side project about a week ago. It is a platformer that takes place inside a computer. You are a number six who has broken out of the program. Other numbers and computer stuff attack you and try to eliminate you. As you go through the game you figure out that the computer you are in is actually a terrorist's computer that hacked into the government's nuclear missle systems and you have to stop it (blow it up). I'm still working on the story.

HCR, I totally dig the concept of the "program" game. There's a *lot* of cool possibilities there. My current project is probably only of interest to any band geeks out there... It's a web-based marching band/drum corps game (sorta) in pure DHTML. You can design your own drill and publish the show, which is judged by the community.

I am working on: A hardware accelerated roguelike ( http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=511.0) A C API for the (very) rapid development of 2d games called Retro Game System that is nearing release. A game using said API in collaboration with someone from this forum. An sleeping disorder.

Seeing those kart pics confirm my suspicions even more. If graphics look tasty (literally) then its awesome.

Those car designs are excellent. I think you have perfectly captured the spirit of vintage cartoons.
