@Fifth Your game is amazing! You should write a blog post to get some ratings in.

@gamepopper The glitch graphics are really appealing, but i suck at fighting the corruption in your game. I'm mostly falling to my death.

@Prinsessa Your game summarizes the season perfectly. I hate shopping.

@Oddball I clicked around but i did not get the control scheme of the game. I'll try again tomorrow. It's late.

Definitely read the instructions on the Ludum Dare page. The interface is hard to understand at first glance. I ran out of time before I could make it really intuitive. Shrug

It was inspired by the classic snake game.

You control the colorful snake to eat beans and gets more bigger.

Mayfly is a psychological horror game/interactive story, drawing inspirations from visual novels like Saya no Uta, Doki Doki Litterature Club and text adventures like 9:05.

I always aim for Compo but this time I really felt I needed the extra 24h to add sound/music and some graphical effects just to make it at least a little bit more aesthetically interesting. Otherwise this submission was really all about writing and I think 80-90% of my time was spent on writing/refining/pacing the story. Certainly different from what I usually do but it was an interesting thing to try.

As usual I'll be checking out all of your submissions eventually!

Super Trader 64 is a Nintendo 64-style trading quest game that we made for Ludum Dare 40!

Your goal is to keep trading items around until you get enough Yarn or Tennis Balls required to trade for the chocolate that you need. New trading items are gradually introduced to the trading cycle, so it may take a while before any Yarn or Tennis Balls appear. We specifically styled it to look like a Nintendo 64 game, this includes the movement and camera controls.

Was just about to write a couple of days ago that I can't play yet because I don't have a proper internet connection and then that failed to send because at that exact point I had used up all my mobile surf quota for this month as well. Cry Finally got it fixed today!

Likely one of my worst ones. Didn't get karma for a lot of my comments either. Sad Not sure if they were bad or if people just stopped checking back on their comments after the first few days. I'm also not sure everybody knows how the karma system works and that you're supposed to heart comments, because it's not that clearly stated. Tongue And we got a guest staying over Christmas so I lost a bunch of days to play. You definitely deserved that high rating for graphics, tho, Oddball!
