This weekend we will be showing Pico Tanks at PAX Australia, and it will be our last PAX before we launch the game on iOS and Android! Kiss Will we see any of you there?

We exhibited in the Pax Rising area with heaps of other Australian indie game developers. We managed to get a working build of Pico Tanks ready and we set it up to so people could play 2 vs 2. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive   Grin



Here is some gameplay footage of the team playing some frantic 2 vs 2 on the new shipping yard level. A lot has changed since we last posted any gameplay footage! Can you spot the differences? Wink

A very inconvenient road block Waaagh!





We actually threw in over 1000 sheep in this scene! Tears of Joy They avoid trees and barriers, and run away from the tank when it's when moving faster.
Are there any other animals you would like to see in the environments?

Innocent dynamic prop train, minding its own business, caught in Pico Tank mayhem Screamy

Having dynamic props can make a level more interesting, does anyone have any suggestions you'd like to see in levels? Would you want to interact with the train, even if your tank can't get to the tracks?

Hey everyone! We have something exciting to share with you!

We are looking for beta testers, so we have just created a new Discord server which can be found here: https://discord.gg/rBHzEMd

We will keep you updated on progress for when we are going to start beta testing (beta will hopefully start in the next few days). Once you have access to the beta, this server will be all about getting your input on the game so we can make the most out of the beta period before global launch on iOS and Android in early 2019.

We look forward to showing you what we've been working on!

Back up your tank with some extra firepower. Even if you go down - your cannon turret will fight to the end!

Is this maybe TOO much wind? We've made the trees move using a wind shader and they are also pushable by the tanks.

That bug looks great, imagine that it had a weapon that has the effect of the wind from the flying trees and the other tanks, something like an atomic bomb  Cheesy
