• Character Sheet. Now natural spirit values are shown in the Character Tab (without item modifiers)

Changelog:
• Some GUI fixes
• Changes to Backstab. Now any character has the chance to backstab a stunned enemy, but the damage is lower in this case
• Now cannot equip items or assign character points during combat
• Angelclaw now increases chance to backstab a stunned enemy, and increases sneak backstab damage
• Changes to Ghost Wave perks
• Changes to Frost Bolt perks
• Kinesis now adds 12% chance to drop Health Orb (in addition to pick up radius change)

Version 0.11. Fast-Paced mode
Changelog:
• Added Fast-Paced game mode. This mode decreases critters HP, but increases their damage
• Added Quick Settings window
• Added video settings presets
• Now render brightness and contrast can be adjusted
• Some GUI changes
• Some small changes to spells and input
• Switched to DirectX as a default renderer

This feels like a much larger project than it is intended to be. Wouldn't mind a 20-hour game commercial game with the "Temple" stage only being one small part of the overall world.

I guess I'm curious. Høyfjell sounds like an absolutely huge game, and this one deserves a more ambitious goal with how polished it is. (I mean it'd be a pity to have a seemingly quite complex item and perk system and just make a few hours of gameplay out of it) Do you just plan to release the two games on free on Steam (and then have voluntary DLCs which technically make them pay-what-you-want) and itch? It honestly sounds quite bizarre if you quit your job to work full-time on these projects and not really care about funding that much... no offense. I'm just saying this looks money and you are not asking for it Shocked

fall_ark, well, I'm not against profit. Profit is fine as long as it's honest and deserved.

I'm designing the world in an expandable manner. That means I have a minimal scope which includes "small but meaningful game", that can be expanded without many changes to what's already there. So, how big the game is going to be - I don't know.

About Steam release - well, I'm not sure how to approach it. I definitely don't want a paid content in the game, since it would be free-to-play, not pay-what-you-want. Selling empty DLCs would just feel strange (and might even be against the TOS). I don't know what would be an appropriate solution for the Steam release.

Pretty much the same is true for Høyfjell.


Version 0.11.2. Sound Update
Changelog:
• Added or redone many sound effects
• Added Audio tab in Quick Settings
• Some sound optimizations
• Added 'Extra Sounds' option in Settings that allows to adjust audio density

This update contains some changes to the audio settings file, so some settings may be reset at launch.

Version 0.12. New Location and the Dev Branch

With this version I'm starting a developer's branch of the game. The dev branch contains new additions to the game, that might require some more polish before getting into the main branch. This will allow me to roll big updates step-by-step, instead of releasing all the new content and features at once.

Keep in mind that dev branch is a separate download.

This update includes new playable area, as well as some GUI, HUD, and spell changes.

Changelog:
• Optimizations
• New location. The Ridge
• New critter. Lesser Kryper
• Reworked SMG / Spray (now spray is a default SMG attack, SMG damage is Physical)
• Namaar Guardian renamed to Namaar Fighter
• New items

• Increased range for GUI and HUD scale options
