Hi everyone!

We're currently in development (and in the middle of a Kickstarter) for our latest adventure game/visual novel, Echoes of the Fey: The Last Sacrament. Echoes of the Fey is an ongoing series of detective stories in a high fantasy setting. Play as Sofya Rykov, a private investigator with a dangerous secret of her own: she’s the only Human who can wield magic. Each episode offers a standalone experience with unique gameplay and branching story-lines. The Last Sacrament sees Sofya Rykov blackmailed into stealing a dangerous but life-saving medicine from the mysterious Krovakyn Church.

We released the first episode in the series, The Fox's Trail, on PC last year and PS4/Xbox One this summer. We used Gamemaker Studio for that installment, but for this one we've moved to Unreal Engine 4. While this means we have to worry a lot more about performance/optimization, the handling of assets and scenes is way easier and 3d environments let us use more dynamic camera systems so the VN portions of the game aren't so static. We're also adding a fairly complex minigame, a light tabletop RPG that you play with other characters that will have persistent stats.

You can check out the Kickstarter here and we also have a free public demo up on itch.io! Let us know what you think!
