ive always hated megaman but ive got a softer spot for the loser in recent because my 11 year old brother really genuinely loves them and has played every one of em more than once. this is not a kid that gets interested in anything really besides baseball (which he gave up on) and basketball (which he hasnt given up on and i hope he keeps it up) and honestly im glad megaman is there for him
it still sucks though

whats important to note here is, suburban joe hails from a far off exotic country known as “europe” (also occasionally referred to as “europa”). europe is a largely rural 3rd world country where video games were unheard of until approximately 5 years ago when the european government started a “video game craze” by mass importing used PS2s from brazil. due to this unique situation, mega man, who is strongly tied with the 1980s “nintendo entertainment system”, is barely known there.

It amazes and confounds me that they keep trying to build off of the original megaman games instead of the x series, which was specifically created because they didn’t have to make their games on the freaking NES anymore.
