Hey everyone! Grin

I'm hosting the Meta Game Jam from March 17-31 2018, where you create a game about games!

More specifically, a game that comments on or satires game design/mechanics/development/culture,
and/or breaks the fourth wall!  Who, Me?

Some examples of metagames include Achievement Unlocked, Game Dev Story, and The Stanley Parable!

Other cool things:
• Game prizes which you could win just by participating!
• YouTubers and streamers organised to play your entries and give feedback!

A game about gaming itself is literally what I've spent the last eight years wrestling life into submission to get back around to making.

That said? I don't realistically expect this to work in ten days or less... but I wish it would.

I'm updating the jam soon with slightly changed dates and a longer time frame, so that might help!  Grin

We've reached 200 signups!  Grin

Also, when you submit, you will now be able to tag your game with different metaness categories (some prizes will be tied to these categories):

-Breaks the Fourth Wall
-About Games Development
-About Gaming Culture
-Genre Deconstruction
-Game Mechanic Deconstruction
-Specific Game Parody
-Other
