Ok, so minor update,
We have most of stuff implemented and now work on the first test version for close fans on our Discord.
I am a bit nervous, also got day job problems in rl but in the end, I hope it will be worth it

Indeed that is good news, i mean the fact that most stuff is done and the beta is coming

Order of content on current build version
- intro story (done)
- starting quiz (done)
- the 3 tutorial maps ( pending )
- intro cutscene with vehicle conversation ( pending )
- tutorial map area (work in progress 60% done, can be explored but may be bugs /missing content)

Aditional:
- mechanics ( all done but some of them need adjustments and bug fixes)
- content ( 90% is done but only 5%-10% is implemented)
- Ballance (pending)

Id say we are now on a thin line between late alpha and early Beta

I used cheat mode to spam zombies and kill the entire team, so evil of me



Never forget to establish a defensive perimeter and always barricade your windows kids


What should be order of priority? loot, barricade, explore, take defensive positions?

Some suggestions for the bubbles: cannot tell for sure if it's not already done, I would time the bubbles  based on length of text, and fade them a bit earlier, so they don't overlap that often in full white.


The game looks like it made quite some big steps from the beginning, congrats on the job done!

Maybe if a bubble contained important stuff there would be an option to slow pace of the game or even freeze the whole action to
give the protagonist time for planning the next tactical move...

Yes, sir, the timing for speech bubbles is custom according to the text length

@Sp1ke

Unfortunately by pausing the game for speech bubbles will cause frustration in gameplay and will also diminish the horror elements

Thank you, sir! We only have 1 character that can handle a minigun, use it well

Definitely keep checking Cthulhu Mythos. Lovecraft and the other authors who later expanded it have created some amazing worlds there, full of potential to draw some inspiration from here and there. Often the short stories have the best bits. Also Mad Max series!

Thank you AcroGames Projects for the suggestions, I was only referring to specific things, not the overall picture.
For example ALiens movie - reactor room map suggestions.
Mad Max seems a good type to but what exactly do you recommend to take from it? A Character development inspired from the main character or a desert map?

results:
- the game runs on all tester computer
- the game is fun
- we neglected the resolution screens/ need to add more resolutions
- we need to improve tutorial
- we found a few more bugs(a lot less than we were expecting)

I'm not sure about the picture you posted. If it is "front" picture it looks nice but I get impression that main characters could be bigger and some gore would make it better.
