We want to add some more lovecraftian inspired monsters such as walls made of flesh and these things, an eye wich can make survivors stun with fear and eggs grown out of flesh wall from wich worms grow , brrrrrr

UPDATE:
we added the eye fear paralyze building and the egg building, need to add a death frame to it and some more flesh walls, the worms act normal, they come from eggs small size and if not killed fast enough they evolve into medium worms and big worms

Hope you guys enjoy, next month we will enter a bug fixing development mode, so much much much work ahead but in the end I know it will be worth it

I am glad you want to play the game.
I will try to answer all questions to the point:

Release date: sometime in 2019, we do not know exactly when because we have zero funds so we must split time between game dev and full-time jobs
beta testing we hope to open beta soon for the players in our discord room but again, we do not know the exact date
current status of the game all critical features are done, all main art & animations are done, mechanics work but they need polish, we are somewhere in alpha, we hunt bugs and try to polish and improve all mechanics we finished

UPDATE

Evacuation zone

Evacuation zone mechanic is implemented, during each building exploration map there will be exit points, to evacuate simply move character on top of it, will take a few seconds for character to evacuate during which other characters can cover him, if he got reflex skill the evacuation timmer will be lowered, in some situation is best not to be greedy with looting while monsters come closer last characters evacuation will be a problem, or you can set automated defenses with engineer to cover evacuation if you have engineer in squad, many MANY possibilities, and gameplay approaches tactics.

The character may evac map at any time he desires but he must take in consideration that each evac will increase aggro(overall difficulty, awareness of monsters) every action got a consequence.

I also added some testing resources in the gif for fun.

Will the character auto cancel the evac procedure and auto fire on the enemy?

They will automatical shoot during which evac progress still continues as long as you don't move away from the evac tile in which case progress gets reset

Started work on minimap display.
Basic functions already implemented, all lootable objects, interactive objects, doors, survivors, monsters appear on the minimap with the same color, the minimap can also be upgraded so I'm thinking on next levels to display each category with different shapes/color.
Visual-wise right now it's just some dots, I'm thinking to give it a design similar to "Aliens" and I'm concerned because I want to keep it dark not to make it a rainbow
In the game right now the minimap is always there but in the final version, you can only have a minimap if you got a certain radar object upgraded on the traveling vehicle or if your engineer have a scanner

Here are old radar visuals


And here is new visuals, we aim for a simplistic look & user-friendly so the player can concentrate more on the action


Next week we will have a big update.

May I add, real-time strategy + RPG are hard af to make  Addicted, already I think we got 2 years since we started the project, but when I see how it comes to life it's wonderful and it fuels my motivation and makes me happy, Well, hello there! , by far this is the most complex and big project that I ever made and having a day job definitely helps although my social life suffers because of the lack of time, I'm in zombies mode since beginning of this year  Who, Me?

And now the traveling vehicle(mobile base) also heavily inspired by ALIENs

Meantime we also added an active pause mode feature which can be unlocked from travel vehicle, in other words you can put game on pause , issue orders for all team members and then hit play to execute
