1 or 2, which mine looks better?



2 is more readable as having a valuable / different (gem) stone in it.
1, not so much, but could be a better choice if the surrounding "ore" is the darker / duller stuff.

It depends on context.  Is there a black rock you hit, then there's a gem revealed... or are there plain rocks around and you see there's a "gemstone" deposit to mine.  If the former, use 2.  If the latter use 1.

Or, use BOTH and make #1 yield more "gems", enough that it's apparent just from looking at it externally without striking it with a pickax.

Hi! I might record some footage of me drawing. for the most part what I'm doing right now is animating some already created work. but in the next phase I will try to record some of the creation process for our npc's or enemies

Short devlog here! We are just working on the map and adding additional sprites at this point, hopefully we will be back to finishing up a playable version of the game.
