OMG best week of my life.
and i didnt win anything!

but still, holy shitballs that was fun.
especially the last day, party at Lulu.
randy smith was DJing, very kickassly at that,
john blow was getting it on,

The IGF/FlashBang party was pretty cool with chiptunes and Don Hertzfeldt cartoons. That Level 99 party was cool too. I got to bug Costikyan and Clint Hocking. Derek's surprise party would have been fun if I didn't want to sleep. The sessions were awesome, but too hard to sum up. The GDC did inspire a blog post that might be interesting to some. clint hocking showed me his nipple at some random party. also, Costikyan is the single most depressing guy i ever met. i interviewed him for some newspaper at the montreal international game summit. he made me want to kill myself. moreso than usual. |
