So I've been pitifully attempting to make my own images for a game I've made, coding wise, however I'm finding it difficult to make images the blend together well and especially hard to make backgrounds.

If anyone has any advice, or links to useful tutorials it would be much appreciated.

I'm looking for anything that might help give inspiration to make either background images, tiled ground images ect...

Thank you! Smiley

Hey , i useally try to use very simple colors, i think adding a few layers of shading works.

as for your character try to add a 1 or 2 pixel black frame around it , so it looks like its not part of the background.

if its 2D add a light shadow(like 10% opacity) to the battom of your character Gomez
