It looks cute!
The models and the color scheme have a simple side to them, but that defintely works in their favor.
If you can, I suggest adding outlines to the feet's soles, because they seem to be blending in with the sandals.

These 3d styles are interesting.
Will you animate the UV for the face?
Always wanted to try that but never really tried it or looked into it..
