No, you don't want to sue his ass. All you get is shit. Try suing his piggy bank.

Timmy appears to have a new victim, CrossEdge by NIS. Oh dear! SourceAlso, what's with that "Children are our future." slogan? Methinks he has another scheme brewing too.

I knew it! Langdell's suit against EA was another delaying tactic to prevent EA from canceling his trademarks. http://j.mp/bEw3DxHe basically is saying: I sued them after they sued me, so you have to deal with my new suit before this old one. Seems backwards, no? I wonder if it will work.

I hope this motion is dismissed as the delaying tactic it is.
EDIT: I don't understand this one: "37. EA has used its MIRROR'S EDGE designation in interstate commerce in a manner likely to cause confusion with Edge Games' unregistered EDGE mark."
"unregistered EDGE mark"?

Ew, why is his website playing video through a Windows Media Player plugin?
I also noticed that he's now claiming to give 10% of his profits to "charities and institutions for the benefit of children in need" (no mention of any particular charities or organizations...) in order to make him look like the good guy.
Crush him to a pulp, EA. Do it for the children.

What a fuck head. That "children is our future" bullshit is going to backfire badly for him. He sued EA thinking anyone would side with him. He failed horribly, making EA seem like the coolest publisher on earth. Now he's going with this charity scheme ? That's the most desperate attempt I've ever seen to look like a nice person/company. Thing is, it's Tim Langdell we're talking about so that's basically impossible. Plus I bet all the profits (if they are to ever sell a single unit ) will go directly to his pocket.

I wonder what would happen if game developers deliberately cooperated to release a bunch of games with EDGE in the title at the same time.

It's official, there's nothing commendable about Little Timmy. I wonder what would happen if game developers deliberately cooperated to release a bunch of games with EDGE in the title at the same time.
We've had a short small compo in here with that exact mentality. It was fun.

Those games weren't commercial, though, thus no way for Langdell to claim enrichment at his expense. He only goes after commercial titles, as far as I know.

EA never sued Langdell, though, did they? They're just trying to get his trademarks annulled.

No one has sued Langdell yet. However, if his trademarks are found to be fraudulent I wouldn't be surprised if all his past victims didn't file some kind of collective suit to recover their money/loses. Not quite sure how he'd pay them back though if he's doing five years for perjury.

I dunno... I wonder if people like that really have any concept that their actions are unfair (rather, one would hope so, because to knowingly do this sort of junk is just horrible.)
Using childrens' charities to gain credibility makes me sick!

That move was incredibly stupid, even by Langdell's standards. Anyone even slightly aware of his "activities" will see that charity thing is only a desperate attempt to gain some credibility, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people will see it as just another scam of his (which wouldn't be unlikely IF he was to ever sell a single unit).
Well summing up, he's only damaging his image even more.

Sorry guys, if he is actually donating to charity he should be commended on that, it doesn't reflect on his other activities however.
