Neat puzzle game -- gives a Mini Metro vibe while clearly being its own thing. Posting to follow, but I'll try the demo out too!

Next demo is out! This time we want to show you the campaign mode. This will be the core game play when finished. It's  in the early stage but the game is getting a direction.

Try it out and tell us your feedback! Share it with us and you will receive the complete game for free when finished!

More on our blog: https://railroute.bitrich.info/2018/11/23/demo-r0-4-released-from-the-beginnings/

Congratulations on the release! I am really excited about this game. I've only played for about 5 minutes so far (I'll give some  proper feedback tomorrow when I have more time) but just quickly:

How much time did you spend playing the game?
5-10 minutes (so far)

Which stations did you connect to your network (except Bubny, Dejvice, Docks)?
I bought Masaryk Station but when I tried to connect it, I first added a manual semaphore but then trying to create more track, I just got the "no money" message and couldn't build track. Buildingtrack out of Dejvice did work however.

Did you find the game play intuitive from the beginning? Have you had any problems with the understanding of what’s going on?
Not completely intuitive. Here are a few points:
-- I had a rough idea of what to expect but it wasn't instantly obvious that (for example) COM1000 would convert to COM1010 upon arrival as the time message is quite small.
-- Because the train would leave Bubny at 8:05-8:06 I didn't know whether I was supposed to tell it to move or just wait for it to move. It didn't move until 8:06 so why does it say 8:05-8:06?
-- The station timetable (bottom right) isn't very clear as it looks like there are two trains in the Dejvice when you first start but in fact it looks to be an indicator as to what needs to happen the 30 minutes?
-- It isn't very clear how I can plan tracks - can I connect anywhere or just in the pre-defined "slots"?
-- There's no pause button, is this intentional? If so, I "cheated" by clicking the build button as that pauses time.
-- I tried to click on the "trains" button but when you do, it changes to say "research", presumably telling me I need to research that first but when I go to the research button, there doesn't appear to be an option to research trains?

Was it intuitive to you how to receive the incoming trains? Why not?
Yes but I think that's because I have played RailPro. I actually recommend doing something similar as that game; they had a warning chime when a new train was arriving that needed routing.

Was it intuitive to control the switches and semaphores? If not, why?
I guessed.

Was it intuitive how contracts work? If not, why?
I haven't got that far yet

Was it intuitive how research works? If not, why?
It would be good to know how research work - is it time? points earned from arrivals?

Was it intuitive how building / buying works? If not, why?
I haven't played enough to fully comment on that

What did you like the least?
Station names - sorry Smiley

What did you like the most?
The premise!

Do you have any idea what we should definitely add into the game?
Sound effects that feedback information such as the chime I mentioned above.

I hope that helps a little? I'm more than happy to feed back more if it's useful. I'm loving it so far!!

Automation demo is out! Check it out and give us your opinion on it!

We have made a lot of changes and with the automation at hand it is quiet a different game. But the core mechanics remains same - it's still train dispatcher simulator we want to create :-).

Any feedback is highly appreciate.

We will release a map editor for the Rail Route next week! With the editor we allow the players to create fully custom board with everything that comes with it. Create a schematic of your hometown railroads, your imaginary railroad network or even create a London tube map using it! The rectangles you see moving can be modern or historic trains, the underground trains, trams, monorails, just whatever you imagine.

I think the new game graphics look great! Really nice and clean. Maybe the UI/menu graphics are a bit too sci-fi though? I dunno.

I've been following rail route for a while now, and I think it looks great (have wishlisted it on steam).
One thing that feels not quite as good as the rest of it is the laying of new track. The cost(?) indicator looks a bit clunky and blocky.

Keep it up!
