Subscribe on YouTubeGamecraft is the "Photoshop for making games" (or Gameplay Painter/Sketcher) tool I've been working on for months, to create an engine for my own games.
It started turning out into something interesting and I plan a public KickStarter release, for supporters who have faith in this project.
How it works: It's aim is to utilize memory-allocated "infinite" grid as a canvas for creating games in any genre. At first, no 3D (although the way it's built will naturally expand in 3D, in due time.) The first two genres covered will be
platformer and
RPG, providing tools for
terrain generation,
character dialog UI,
extensive tilemap worlds,
in-engine sprite editor + animator, random city generators (future.)

This is a very early stage of a drop-in vehicle simulator. The entire city map was designed in and imported from Blender. But there are plans for including an in-engine city generator as well, based on my current experiments. (Still learning street architecture design.)

My other dev logs here are Mirrorgate and Church Wars. These projects have temporarily come to a halt, until Gamecraft catches up with the tech. required to bring those projects to fruition.
