Alex got me and his airline tickets booked. Alex is sorted for accomodation, but I am NAHT. Any help would be very appreciated. I am definitely a nice guy who will be nice BUT NOT TOO NICE when we are sharing a bed together.

Still looking.

Can anyone who has already organized a room tell me what sorts of places I should be looking for? I've never done this before :/

Also, what hours are the cafe open? I'm just thinking that it might actually be good to not have people burning out on the first day (like what happened to me last time :D ) and a "kick out" time would help that. Might not be so good for the more energetic among you, but I am crap at long hours.

Okay, I may as well throw my ticket out there, should anyone want it (I would have done it sooner, but I was on holiday!). There's still a slim chance I'll be able to go, but I won't find out until the middle of July, so it would be unfair for me to sit on the ticket any longer. How do I go about giving it to someone else?

So when does it start exactly? Will probably fly in on Friday morning, so I expect to arrive sometime before/towards noon.

Also, who wants to stay longer and share a room with me -- especially of those staying in St. Christopher's, but also others? György has reserved the 8-bedder until Tuesday the 4th, but I'd like to stay until the 6th or 7th and am afraid I'll end up homeless. Please help Beg

UPDATE: FWIW, I've now booked flights on the morning of the 31st, and back around noon on Thursday the 6th. My vacation off work is also fixed. Barring any catastrophes, that means I'm actually going!  Hand Shake Left Kiss Hand Shake Right So looking forward.

Ah, sorry to hear that, lordmetroid Sad

I'm about to spend 12 hours or something travelling to America so I'll have to make this fairly brief. We'll have the use of a projector at the jam, and we thought it would be cool if we had some little tutorials, presentations or talks going on. The people coming to this jam have all sorts of interesting expertises, so if any of you would be interested in doing something and sharing your knowledge, that would be an excellent thing.

Like the 3-hour jams, these would be totally optional - you can choose to get on with your own stuff, or pay attention if you feel like it. It's all good.

C418 has kindly offered to give a demonstration of Ableton Live. If anybody else would like to offer the world their genius, just PM myself or jsticker. Thanks Cool

Also, recommend you take headphones, innit.

Your favourite IRC buddy has arrived and will (most likely) take part in the BIG event.

I'll be doing there what I already do on IRC: making horrible jokes from just about everything you say. You've been warned.  Lips Sealed

Lodging is still pretty much open and I'm not sure whether I'll be there for the full event. Not terribly good at this organizing thing as some of you might've already noticed.

I gots a request.

I do not have a laptop, so I thought perhaps asking here if anyone who is coming has a spare I could use for the time of the jam. I would be very happy. \o/

Fellow indians! Below is a short price list of the most necessary victuals (they got some more) you will likely consume while enjoying your time alive in St. Oberholz. Last time I was there, they also served a few beer sorts, should you feel like it. Beer!
I recommend to outsource Party Time Deluxe to other facilities such as clubs, bars and/or art galleries, though.

Coffee
Espresso: 1,70, big Latte: 2,70, small Latte 2,30, Tea 2,00

Softdrinks
Bionade 2,20, Fritz Cola: 2,00, Orangina: 2,20

Food
Soup de Jour: 3,50 - 3,80
Pasta.. de Jour: 5,00 - 5,50
Sammich: 2,10 - 3,50
