Fire Totem is a small indie studio focused on innovative and meaningful game experiences. And we are currently accepting additional game developers to join our team to work on the upcoming, novelty game title
"Art of Combat".
Talent required: We are currently accepting
3D modellers,
3D Blender character animators,
Concept and UI artists.
Volunteer Game designers are also an option. This would be a good opportunity for someone creative and with a passion for video games, to join a career project with a team of like-minded developers.
Technologies: Unreal Engine 4 as our main development platform,
Apache Subversion (SVN) as version control and centralised sharing system,
Discord as the communication platform and other supplementary software and tools. Our target platform is Windows PC.
Project: The online multiplayer game is a unique title that is in active development, and is focused on innovative simultaneous and adaptive turn based martial arts oriented PvP combat, in a semi-stylised art style, set in a nomadic oriental setting. If you enjoy turn based games, martial arts, tactical and strategical planning and online communities, then this is the place to be.
Project Length: The live multiplayer title is planned with multiple release stages, while controlling project scope through iterative design to ensure its delivery.
Requirements: Please check the website for up to date requirements. In general we are looking for members with an open mind and some experience in their respective role (while not having previous game development experience is acceptable). Learning, adaptability and self-driven initiative are a must. If you are just starting out in game development, we recommend doing some game-jams prior, to have a feel if game development is really for you. Please bear in mind that this is a commercially oriented project, not a hobby one.
