Yes, the story is very sad. It will be tragedy with all consequences.
I tried to make a comedy and parody at first, but failed with humor and keep the story dark and sad.

Fascinating game!

Mechanics and content are on a professional level as far as I can judge.

But I'm not quite sure about the controls. You can choose each leg by holding W (left/rear leg) and S (right/front leg), right? But if you just want to move the walker to the right, can you do this by simply holding D? Or do you have to choose each leg alternately: W - D - S - D - W - D - S - D ... ?

Besides that you seem to have some trouble with the setting. Some people are bothered about it. This reminds me of Verhoeven's controversial movie "Starship Troopers". Also I'm thinking of "Star Wars: TIE Fighter" (LucasArts 1994), where you fight on the side of the villain against the Rebel Alliance. I didn't play it, but that game wasn't controversial at all AFAIK.
(Just throwing in some thoughts.)

About controls - the main idea of the game is to control each leg. You have to raise particular leg to avoid missiles, to not step on something and to step on someone by particular leg. There are two lines of enemies, and player have to chhose leg correctly to survive in the battle. This is the main idea of the game. Just holding D - is nothing new.

I don't know what thing makes you remind "Starship Troopers", but you can meet "private Rico" in the game (with a different name - we have A. RICO), becouse of Robert A. Heinlein is my favorite author. And "Starship Troopers" is a book that I re-red many times.

But setting is close to Avatar as for me. There was no our goal to make something like Avatar at first, but we had some ready-to-use resources from our previous game that convinced us to go this way.

New video with the new features. We have added natives with EMP grenades, repair droids and nose art. EMP grenade inverts controls, it is very funny (and annoying) with our already weird controls
