Project Name: Rolan's Quest
Role Required: Game and level design using Unity and Tiled. Provide feedback and advice to the team about design improvements.
Project Length: 1.5 years.

We are a game development company working on an exciting new project. The game will be on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, XBox One, and PS4.
The game is called Rolan's Quest and is based on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, to give you an idea of our design direction. The game is a top-down action-adventure game and quite large in scope. The environments are done using tilesets. This is a pixel-art based game. The game is being developed in the Unity 3D game engine.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Level Designer that wants to advance in the career of game development. We are looking for an experienced level designer and a self-starter to join our team. The duration of this project is about a year and a half. I have a ton of areas that need to be created and am looking for the right person to create it

The perfect candidate will be a passionate, do-it-yourself type. You will need the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Prior Level Design experience.
Must have a portfolio.
Must have worked on at least a moderately-sized game for either PC or console.
Since we are remote, promptness and good communication skills are a must-have asset.
Experience in the Unity game engine.
Knowledge in Tiled or similar program is beneficial.
Knowledge of AI techniques (FSM's or Behavior Trees) is beneficial.
