my name is Matthias and I'm the developer of The Grand Grimoire (
www.thegrandgrimoire.com) a 2D turn based fantasy RPG inspired by such games like Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Final Fantasy 6 or Tactics.
The game is in early development, you can check the website or my twitter @arkheiral for some screenshots. I'm planning to release a Kickstarter campaign at the end of 2018/ beginning of 2019. So the actual production of the soundtrack will start around that time. But before that I'll need a track for the trailer in the coming months and I want to have it from the same hand as the whole soundtrack that is why I'm already seeking out to you guys.
I'm no expert concerning musical terms so I would just throw in some names of composers whose style I think would fit the game. These are Yasunori Mitsuda, Nobuo Uematsu, Kenji Ito, Yoko Shimomura, Hitoshi Sakimoto. The tracks should be rather melodic like all those SNES and Playstation era scores (no chiptune music though).
I've already got some really good portfolios from some of you, but I would still like to see some more. Please send me your portfolio, a link to a single track of yours that you think would fit the game, and your rates. Most tracks will be around 1 to 2 minutes. The whole soundtrack will be around 20-30 tracks long. The trailer song will be around 2 minutes.
