Hello,

I'm a solo game developer, who can't make all their art alone anymore, so I would like to find an artist or two, which could adapt their art style to my basic 2D cartoon games and help me out from time to time with various small-to-medium projects.

Examples of such work would include:

  • "Skinning" a character
  • Drawing game items or character outfits
  • Game backgrounds and objects

This is the biggest work I have at the moment - drawing an outfit over ~30 frames of piglet. I will provide the base vector and my apologies for some of the poses making no anatomic sense.

This isn't top tier 2D art, so be prepared to limit your skill level Smiley I might have more complex work in the future (more detailed game backgrounds or patterns, promo character art), but prefer to test the waters out with something simpler and cheaper first.

I'll send you templates, examples and references needed.

Deadlines: no pressure, but faster work is appreciated
Payment method: Paypal
Affordability: being a not-yet-successful indie from Eastern Europe I'm financially limited, but would still like to hear your estimations for a certain pieces of work and keep contacts for the future
Next steps: send me examples of your work here or to [email protected] and let's arrange a small paid test project (draw x items or dress a character frame).

Cheers!

Hi SnoutUp,

I might be interested in helping out.

I am experienced in vector art so the work outlined should be fairly straightforward for me.

One question first though :- what program are you making games in? I am using Inkscape for my vector art at the moment as its free, so being able to work for you would be dependent on being able to transfer files to you easily.

Let me know and I can send you more about me and some more of my work.
