1. yakuza kiwami 2 has received an esrb rating on pc so seems to be the next release. it's a really, really good game but it's not as good as 6 despite being better on a technical level. people should play it.

2. as an april fools joke the official yakuza youtube channel released the first video of the new game but reimagined as a turn based rpg and it's so intricate that there's no way this isn't a mini game. it looks really good.

the dragon engine without the shitty aliasing and at 60 fps is going to be really good. i hope i have a good pc style computer by the time they get to yakuza 6 because i would play it again.

The hair cut style and eyebrows are the same, so it seems the same person, but for me is indeed different, similar, but different. Anyway for budget reasons I think they just sculpted different the head from the original version.

also i am going to give the english dub a chance because it seems like they're putting a lot of effort into it but everybody seems to occupy the same vocal range and have the same extremely breathy delivery and heavy radio style vocal compression to it. regardless, i am looking forward to beating up pedestrians in search of the truth about whatever intricately woven conspiracy serves as the impetus for beating up pedestrians for 80 hours.
