Hello everyone!

This is Mimis from Ancient Games DS, the studio responsible for 8-Bit WaterSlide and Maximum Car.

We’re excited to announce the open alpha for our latest game, Bark Park. Here's a rough early trailer of the game:



Bark Park is a unique 4 player action mobile multiplayer game in Open Alpha for iOS and Android, in which the player takes control of a dog on its quest to park domination by capturing all the trees in the park.




In Bark Park the player must compete with other dogs over a limited number of trees. The player can capture trees by filling up their bladder at the fountain and peeing on them. You can defend your trees or invade other’s trees by barking other players away, distracting them with poo as well as other abilities that are scattered throughout the map as power-ups.



We would love for you to try our game and are seeking feedback on the gameplay. The game is very much in the early stages and we'd like to invite you to play an influential role in it's development. You can sign up through the submission portal on our website or simply PM me your e-mail and mobile device here and we can send you a build on TestFlight / Google Play.

Hey all,

It's been a while but I'm excited to share our latest updates. We've made significant improvements to the overall aesthetic of the game and have added a few cool new features:




We've added different unlockable dogs and dog breeds that you can select from. We're in the process of adding to this collection as we speak. While you'll have access to a variety of traditional dog breeds, the plan is also to get silly with it and add all sorts of hats and costumes to your dog as well.




You can keep your dog in unique unlockable Parks, where all your collected dogs will be found doing dog things.




We've also added AI, so if the game is not filled with players it automatically fills bots to accommodate.

We'd really love for you to test and provide feedback on these new features. Your thoughts have been very helpful so far.

So we've been pretty hard at work incorporating some of the feedback we've received from our on-going Alpha test.

We've also been working on various graphics overhauls for many in-game assets and UI screens.

Here's some cool stuff I can share!


Not yet animated, the plan is to have this be a rotating doggy slide


Slowly beefing up the doggy park! The doggy carousel is the latest addition in trying to make it look warm and inviting.



Also been working on adding animations to certain power-ups in order to give them that extra oomph.

Hey guys,

Pretty big update as we are approaching the open beta. We've been working on a bunch of things such as improving AI logic, adding animations and sounds and finally putting work on the shop screen. Here's some goodies on what we've been working on:



Completely revamped the main park screen and added the ability to upgrade the park



Here's a teaser for one of the unlockable parks: Monster World


Our latest addition: The DoggyDex. This is a stat page that shows all your relevant stats with each different dog breed.
