so many reissues of "lost" albums this year. i thought the story behind this (that it was recorded in 1971 by a guy in the early stages of paranoid schizophrenia) might be a hoax but it's apparently real. really nice rough & loose psychedelic jamming with interesting vocals on this.

I want to learn how to make that beautiful supersaw synth so bad. And the sidechain is perfect.

A few years ago I heard the first track on Youtube because someone here linked it (I'm not sure who it was, and I can't find the post easily, but I think it was Caruso). Today I found out that higher quality versions of the tracks have been released since then.

Having a bit of a Björk bender at the moment, it's a trap I tell you! Decades of consistently inspiring music!

Anthony Carboni and Jeff Cannata are doing a podcast that I just found out about. Really interesting discussions, with some occasionally hilarious moments. Episodes are only like, 20 minutes too. http://www.wehaveconcerns.com/

It has such a bizarre, almost alien, tone to it. I love it!

Didn't realise Sólstafir released a new album, Ótta. Listening now. Currently at track two, named like the album.

from Silent Hill 4: The RoomSuch an eerie song with pretty somber lyrics. Aside from the claustrophobic atmosphere of being locked in the main character's apartment, my favorite thing about SH4 was definitely the soundtrack. It has a lot of killer vocal tracks. and Your Rain are my other favorites from that OST.
