I'm listening to the sound of my soul being slowly torn apart.

just saw earth live for the 2nd time in half a year and they blew me away again. the instrumental live versions of the vocal tracks from the new album are seriously a million times better than the studio versions.

Manchester Orchetra! Colly Strings to be specific. Such a unique sound, always gets me pumped up when I'm working.

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral, pretty long but I like it a lot. Wu Tang Clan - 36 Chambers, this album sounds really haunting for some reason, I like it tho. Oneohtrix Point Never - Replica, very very very chopped and screwed and very somber. Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures, it's really bleak I like it a lot. Lyrics are very good.

basically tuareg guitar music with programmed beats and autotuned vocals. sounds like it should be be awkward but is actually really excellent

I found out that Neon Genesis Evangelion just got a Jazz CD made and it is baller as shit, so smooth you might melt into your chair. You'll definitely want to strap on your monocle and adorn your game frizzled head with a top hat for this stuff

revisiting the music of my youth. i never actually heard this band back then but i knew they were supposed to be a legendary "proto grunge" band who influenced the melvins (my fave at the time <3). sound good 2 me

more revisting music from my teen years. for years i was kinda tired of loveless and my interest in mbv/shoegaze in general was close to 0. but now im giving it another spin and loving it again. its still a fantastic album. sometimes u just gotta be in the right mood and mindset for music to "click" with you i guess.

Ice Age - Plowing into the field of love
cool album from a cool punk band, pretty different sound from their other albums but still really GOOD.
