Afrikan Sciences- Circuitousthis is, as the kids say, "some next level shit". bit of an autechre vibe in the beats sometimes but too funky and jazzy to ever truly be "IDM". keys sound like they were played live rather than programmed which is a big plus.

The soundtrack to John Wick myself - good mix of quiet/loud, and the action tracks aren't distracting I find.

casual joke by princessa sent me toward a
death-spiral, then getting slapped in the face with Roundabout in the
kicked me through the event horizon into full on classic prog black hole. tell my family i love them, but ive chosen emerson lake and palmer.

I went on a trip and my friend brought some portable speakers, so we listened to his chill rap quite a bit. I hardly ever listen to rap, but I quite liked his taste. I downloaded some from Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, and some of Snoop's stuff. Anyone got any good chill rappers? I don't like rap which focuses entirely on the vocals, and I don't want any of that too angry stuff either.

I honestly think rap is an underrated genre. It gets a bad rep because of pop culture, but if you look around even a little bit you can see that it's pretty unjustified. Childish Gambino is really good. Try something like Kid Cudi, Mobb Deep or Redman.

Föllakzoid- IIIwow these guys have really come into their own. they started out as a relatively solid neo-psych band in the spacemen 3/loop mold then became an also pretty ok neo-krautrock band. but on this album they decided to collaborate with uwe schmidt (probably best known for making an album of latin styled kraftwerk covers under the name senor coconut) and its basically a combination of minimal krautrock/psych jamming and techno/house that totally works. really really nice.

Damn they remind me of driving to so-cal for the first time, new but familiar?
I've been listening to Hiatus Kaiyote, they're really interesting!
and
are nice live songs they did.

@silbereisen:
That whole paragraph is just endless jargon. It's scary to think that I'd have to get so much knowledge to understand what you're talking about.
